About Me
I am a Los Angeles based Graphic Artist turned Broadcast Producer with a passion for professional and college sports. My passion for sports comes from my older brother -- a lifetime San Francisco Giants fan. Growing up with him as my main sports influence, I fell in love with everything San Francisco. This drove my passion for sports, which was quickly followed by a passion for all things broadcast.
As a Film and Media major at the University of California, Santa Barbara, I found ways to emphasize my passion for live production through internships and certifications. Three of my years of college I spent weekends working on the Big West Conference production crew. It was here that I was able to refine and expand a large variety of skills. In my free time I freelanced at numerous networks as an operator, artist, and technician. After finishing school a quarter early, I moved down to Los Angeles to begin working for the NFL Network. At the NFL I successfully launched two shows and worked on countless others. Following my time at the NFL, I took on a role as a Viz Artist at Riot Games. Riot reinvigorated my passion for broadcast by showing me a realm I had not yet been within -- esports. This role gave me the opportunity to grow tremendously, travel the world, and eventually win an Emmy. Riot recognized my drive to continually improve our broadcast and promoted me to a Live Broadcast Producer role. In this role I have formulated and launched new shows, helped to bring games to the world of esports, and executed on multiple Opening Ceremonies, again culminating in a second Emmy win. All of these extremely these hands-on positions have given me the ability to stay calm in high-stress environments, to think on my feet, and to problem solve independently and with groups. I am a confident leader and a loyal peer with an unending desire for the best possible result.
